Sitting at 92,000 followers on Instagram, Motivation Wall is a wall of inspiring images from all around the globe that focuses on health, fitness and wellbeing.

Sitting at 92,000 followers in Instagram, Motivation Wall is a hugely successful wall of inspiring pictures from all around the globe that focuses on health, fitness and wellbeing. With their followers steadily on the increase every day, I’ve often wondered who is behind this wall of creativity. It wasn’t until last week that I decided to track the owner of the Motivation Wall down for an interview with Sporteluxe. Ladies and gentleman, meet 26 yr old nurse Liz who lives in Country Victoria, Australia.

How long have you had Motivation Wall for? I started Motivation Wall at the end of last year.

Do you work out? I never used to, but im so glad that I can now say ‘YES’ to that question. I exercise between 3-5 times a week, and like to mix things up every few weeks to keep me on track and interested. Right now im starting the day with morning walks/runs, then after work I hit the gym for a mix of cardio, weights and strength exercises, and when possible I love swimming laps at the local pool.

What motivates you with Motivation Wall? Motivation Wall started as a personal project, a wall of inspiration to help me get my butt off the couch and into action. I quickly realized that there were so many people like me that just needed a bit of a kick in the pants to get started in reclaiming their health and their bodies back. I know it sounds cheesy, but honestly my followers motivate me. I post things that I think will help others. I don’t post things with the main aim of getting more likes, or getting more followers (Although I am so thankful for every like and ever follower), I post in the hopes that it will positively affect at least one persons life.

Do you have any plans for Motivation Wall in the future? I do have a few exciting plans coming up soon. Hopefully some competitions, giveaways and all round good motivational fun!

Why should followers follow Motivation Wall? Wow. Good question. I think Motivation Wall offers a bit of everything for everyone. Positive quotes, recipes, workouts, fitness tips, before and after photos of my beautiful followers, fitness progress photos, motivational quotes, and funny fitness pics to put a little laughter in your day.

If you had anywhere in the world to choose from, where would you choose to fly to for the ultimate relaxation and wellbeing holiday destination: I’ve always wanted to go to the Maldives. I’ve seen so many beautiful pictures of the area and would love to see it and experience its beauty for myself. I was recently looking at the ‘Zitahli Ayurveda Retreat’ and fell in love with everything it offered. Pampering, massage, yoga, spas, treatments, water activities and amazing food. Seriously sounds like a dream! Definitely putting it on my bucket list

Favourite freshly squeezed juice combo? I LOVE Kale, spinach, celery, apple and ginger. So delicious and good for you! xx

What can’t u live without everyday? Coconut water! So refreshing and so many health benefits. I add it to all my juices and drink it straight from the can after a workout.

What would I find in your gym bag? My white polar heart rate monitor, towel, headphones, deodorant, water bottle, bikinis and lip balm!

What do u eat for breakfast? My standard breakfast in the colder months is a fresh juice packed with fruit and veggies, then eggs, spinach and avocado or yummy hot oats!

What do u like to splurge on? Gym clothes! Such an addiction but I find when I look my best, I feel better and workout harder.

Favourite pair of shoes? Yes yes I love Nike’s!! My favourite right now are my blue and orange Lunarfly 4 Nikes! They are so comfortable and supportive and easy to run in.

Any tips for someone trying to start their own Instagram account and gaining many followers like u? My main tips would be to post what you love! If you love it, others will too. Always be kind to others. Be real. Be yourself. And Look for ‘like minded’ instagram accounts, follow them and think of creative ways you can help each other. There is an amazing fitness community on Instagram, each and everyone is so helpful and supportive. They inspire me everyday.
